In this third and final semester, our focus turns exclusively to poetic texts. Different approaches, productive dialogues and transformations are examined as poets and poems move between the two languages. At the same time, the aim is an examination of the range of manifestations between translation and literary creation, and a close look at the position of translation in the body of work of several Greek poets (Sefers, Elytis, Vayenas, Anghelaki-Rooke, among others).

At the same time, the aim is an examination of the range of manifestations between translation and literary creation, and a close look at the position of translation in the body of work of several British, Irish and American poets (Pound, Lowell, Hughes, Heaney, Logue, Oswald among others).

This course aims at consolidating and expanding the knowledge and skills students acquired during the previous semesters. We focus on texts combining subjects from various fields of science and/or technology. Students also undertake course projects which are presented in class (translation, terminology list, commentary).

This module seeks to familiarize students with legal translation and to enhance their economic and legal knowledge. It also offers students the opportunity to focus on German civil, criminal and inheritance law and to deal with the translation of legal documents, such as contracts, certificates, tax returns, applications etc.

This course focuses on scientific texts with interdisciplinary background, such as texts with technical, medical and other scientific features as well as modern scientific texts from the fields of medicine, biotechnology etc.

We examine texts on Medicine, Biology, Pharmacology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Engineering, etc. During this semester students are introduced to more specialized scientific texts. Glossaries are again compiled and students learn to work in groups with a clear allocation of roles.
